Dean’s Distinction

fall leaves and building

Dear FAS Faculty and Staff,

The importance of the excellent work of our staff members is never more clear than in moments of challenge. They are an essential part of our institutional community and partners in advancing our academic mission. I have full faith in the resilience, dedication, and collaborative spirit that defines our FAS staff. The Dean’s Distinction program offers an opportunity to honor staff for their extraordinary work in support of our teaching and research mission. At this time, we have a particular responsibility to celebrate the impact and contributions of our staff colleagues.

I’m pleased to announce nominations are now open for the 2024 Dean’s Distinction awards and encourage you to take some time to acknowledge each other’s efforts and contributions by nominating a deserving member of our outstanding FAS community.

From supporting our students and faculty to ensuring that our systems run smoothly, FAS staff bring diligence, creativity, and thoughtfulness to their work. Dean’s Distinction gives us a chance to honor our colleagues from across the FAS for all they do to keep our community thriving.

Nominations for 2024 Dean’s Distinction will be accepted beginning today through Wednesday, January 24.

FAS faculty and staff are invited to nominate eligible individuals and teams for 2024 Dean’s Distinction.
