Interim Dean of Administration and Finance

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to share that Mary Ann Bradley, Associate Dean for Administrative Operations, has agreed to serve as interim FAS Dean of Administration and Finance.

Mary Ann has served the FAS for 15 years, leading the Administrative Operations team. In this role, she has worked closely with other Harvard Schools and central University offices on risk management, procurement and payables, systems project and change management, and other FAS and University-wide administrative initiatives. Mary Ann is a key partner to HUIT leadership on technology initiatives in the FAS. She and her team also oversee important forums, such as the Administrators’ Town Hall, the FAS Project Review Board, and the FAS Administrative Initiatives Council. During the pandemic, Mary Ann played a critical role staffing the FAS Planning and Response Group.

This marks the second time Mary Ann has stepped into this role, and I am deeply grateful for her continued leadership. Her wisdom, experience and steady presence will benefit us all as we launch the search for the next permanent FAS Dean of Administration and Finance. I look forward to welcoming a new colleague to this critical position in the months ahead.

Sincerely,

Hopi
