Academics and research are at the core of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS). As the largest division of Harvard University and the only one responsible for both undergraduate and graduate education, the FAS is home to an abundance of academic resources and research endeavors.

Harvard Library

Harvard Library collections include more over six million digitized items, 21 million volumes, 400 million manuscripts, one million maps, and tens of millions of digital images, and its rare and special collections are among the most remarkable in the world.
