# Civil Discourse Events FEATURED ### Harvard Dialogues As part of a commitment to open discourse on campus and off, Harvard held a series of events designed to model productive dialogue. “Harvard Dialogues,” [**which launched on January 18, 2024**](https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2024/01/harvard-dialogues-creates-forum-for-respectful-debate/), was part of a broader initiative to address how the campus community can communicate more openly and constructively within classrooms and in the broader world.
