Harvard Yard Operations:
All building and maintenance requests should be submitted using the maintenance request form for all non-urgent requests. You can also submit requests in person, by phone, or by email.

Non-urgent requests would include broken shades, light bulb changes, etc. . .
Urgent requests include clogged toilets and drains, broken locks, or other hazardous situations. Urgent requests should be phoned in to Yard Ops during regular business hours. For all after-hour emergency requests call the Control Center (see below).

Call the Control Center if you have an urgent maintenance problem after 4:30 p.m. weekdays, or during the weekend. All non-urgent evening and weekend maintenance requests should follow the instructions outlined above.

Dorm Crew:
Custodial Services and Supplies: (617) 495-5569
Toilet paper (for in-suite bathrooms), trash bags, poster gum, and cleaning supplies (brooms, mops, buckets, and vacuums) are available from the Dorm Crew Office in Weld Hall Basement. Dorm Crew also cleans each suite bathroom once every two weeks.
The Dorm Crew office is open Monday−Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Hurlbut annex is open Fridays from 2:15 p.m. −5:00 p.m.

Lockouts: (617) 495-1212
Call HUPD if you have been locked out of your dorm room. Security Guards patrol the Freshman Dorms 24 hours a day and will also respond to lockout requests. Please call (617) 496-9370 to reach the security office located behind Widener Library.

Is is very important to remember, dorm entrance doors can not be propped open at any time!
