New Instructors join OFA Dance Program

The OFA Dance Program welcomes two new instructors to its staff this semester:

Jodi Allen (Modern) has studied and performed with Donald McKayle, Sean Curran, Mark Dendy, Doug Elkins, Gerri Houlihan, Heidi Latsky and actor Robert Duvall, among others. She has performed with Malashock Dance Company in San Diego and the Ann Arbor based dance company, The Hundredth Monkey. Her choreography was performed for the American College Dance Festival's national gala performance at the Kennedy Center. She holds a BFA from Shenandoah University, and an MFA from the University of Michigan.

 Brenda Divelbliss (Choreography and Improvisation) holds a BFA in dance from Ohio State University and an MFA in choreography from Smith College. Divelbliss teaches modern technique and composition at the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School. She has taught and choreographed for the Harvard-Radcliffe Modern Dance Company for the past two years. Her work has been supported by grants from the Northampton and Somerville Arts Councils as well as a "Boston Moves" 2001 commissioned award from Dance Umbrella.
