Undergraduate and Graduate Programs

Study in the Slavic Department may be directed towards one of several degrees. Undergraduates have the option to choose between two concentrations, Russian Literature and Culture, and Russian Studies, as well as the opportunity to earn a language certificate in a Slavic language. In addition secondary fields will be offered. In the fall of 2006 the Department plans to propose to the Educational Policy Committee the introduction of two secondary fields to be sponsored by the Slavic Department. One field would be in Central European Studies and the second in Russian Studies. If approved, these fields would be implemented in the spring of 2007.eFor more information, please visit the Undergraduate Programs page.

The department also admits candidates for the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) degree. Information about graduate studies can be found at the Graduate Programs page.
