Location and Space
Our unique location on the Harvard Business School campus
gives us access to the space and facilities on the sprawling
40 acres of the Business School. The pristine campus serves
as our “extended backyard” and provides safe
surroundings that are the perfect place for daily walks
and outdoor explorations.
We are located on two sides of the ground floor of Building
1 in the Soldiers Field Park apartment complex, which
is on-campus housing at Harvard Business School. One side
is home to our infant and young toddler programs; the
other side houses our older toddlers and preschool classes.
Staff move easily and often between the two sides of the
building as needed.

The Preschool 2 classroom
Our bright, spacious, open classrooms provide a cozy atmosphere
for children to learn and explore. The unique shapes of the
classrooms feature low walls, an open floor plan and lots
of natural light. Some classrooms even have windows between
them to encourage observations and interactions between the
classes. There are also two indoor play areas to supplement
the motor curriculum and provide play space for inclement
weather days.
Most classrooms have direct access to one of three outdoor
playgrounds, each designed for various phases of motor development.
In 2005, we upgraded our infant playground with the highest
quality rubber floor padding and a new climbing structure.
In 2006, we made a significant investment in the climbing
structure on our largest playground used by our older toddlers
and preschool children.
We are also the only Harvard-affiliated Center to have its
own kitchen facilities and cook on staff to provide hot lunch
year-round to all of our children. Learn
more about our Lunch Program.
To facilitate drop off and pick up, short-term visitor parking
is provided in the portion of the Soldiers Field Park parking
lot closest to the Center. There is also priority parking
for Center families in the monthly parking side
of the Harvard Business School lot.
