"Our girls don’t even know how much they are learning because they are having so much fun at SFPCC! The learning is inherent in all of the wonderful activities and in the structure of their days. They are developing deep friendships with children of all kinds of delightful and unique backgrounds, skills and interests, and that enriches their lives every day. We feel lucky to have our children in a Center where everything is done so well."

Overview

Soldiers Field Park Children’s Center (SFPCC) is a not-for-profit, Harvard –affiliated child care center located next to the campus of Harvard Business School. Opened in 1976, SFPCC provides educational-based care to approximately 75 children enrolled on a full or part-time basis, from ages 2 months to 5 years.

Our mission is to provide a warm, safe and secure environment for each child in our care. We seek to create an atmosphere in which children feel cared for and protected. From infant to preschool, our learning environment is carefully designed to meet the varying needs of each specific age group and emphasize joy in the learning process.

SFPCC is governed by a Board of Directors made up of Center staff leadership, teachers, parents and representatives from Harvard University Office for Work/ Life Resources. This team works together to oversee management of the Center and make sure that we continue to thrive in our commitment to excellence in child care and learning.
