Daniel Master completed his Ph.D. in Harvard University's Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations Department in 2001. He is currently Associate Professor of Archaeology at Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. Dr. Master began working at the site of Ashkelon in 1992, beginning as a volunteer in Harvard University's summer school program.
