Task Force on Teaching and Career Development In September 2006, Dean Knowles announced the establishment of a new FAS Task Force on Teaching and Career Development. During the fall term, this group of nine senior faculty in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, coordinated by Graduate School Dean Theda Skocpol, prepared a report recommending ways in which the Faculty of Arts and Sciences can better support, recognize, and reward commitments to the steady improvement of teaching.
