In 2006, the Constitutional Revision in Japan Research Project joined the Library Digital Initiative (LDI) unit of the Harvard University Library system in a pilot program specifically oriented towards preserving "born-digital" materials. Launched in February 2009, the Harvard Web Archive Collection Service (WAX) is Harvard's central resource infrastructure for the capture, management, storage, and display of websites for long-term archiving. WAX currently includes three web archiving collections, one of which is dedicated to research on Constitutional Revision in Japan.

The Constitutional Revision in Japan Web Archive Collection includes materials from 57 websites dating to early 2007 and organized into the following groups: Political Parties, Politicians, Governmental Organizations, Citizens' Groups and NGOs, Research Institutes, Labor Groups, Business Groups, Religious Groups, and Scholars. The web archive collection features keyword search functions and browsing by collection group or website.
