Workshops offered: Budgeting for Proposals and Awards using the Excel budget template, Spending Sponsored Funds, GMAS, CREW Basics, CREW Beyond the PER, Introduction to FASSPAR and FASSPAR Projections. Downloadable materials for all of these can be found on the Job Aids and Workbooks page.
Format: Active discussions with questions and suggestions welcome throughout. Workshops are usually an hour and thirty minutes long. In "system" workshops, facilitators demonstrate reports and participants work at computers using their own funds. Experienced users are on hand to work through challenges that arise.
Harvard's Overview of Sponsored Projects Administration
This one-day workshop is held periodically with participants and facilitators from across the university. It is intended for staff members that are new to research administration and/or new to Harvard. It provides the basics on Harvard research administration and resources and contacts for future use.
