Chris Nicholson, FAS Department of Psychology -- Financial Associate
T.J. Martin, FAS Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology -- Laboratory Manager
Frances Meale, FAS Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology -- Laboratory Administrator
Chris, T.J., and Frances presented three different business models for file management. Chris's model was mostly paper-based, T.J.'s a mix of paper and electronic filing, and Frances's model nearly 100% electronic. Link to Nuala's amazing flowchart here.

GMAS Rollout Implementation Planning (GRIP) Committee

February 1st is the implementation date for electronic UPAS and At-risk Requests. There will be trainings in January to get people up-to-speed on the new processes. Look for a memo in the near future asking departments to send a list of who can sign on behalf of the department for both UPAS and at-risk requests. Helia's PowerPoint slides are available here.
