The Principal Investigator (PI) of each sponsored project bears the ultimate responsibility for spending awarded funds appropriately, and he or she must certify his or her own effort on sponsored projects. FASSPAR (Faculty of Arts and Sciences Sponsored Project Accounting Reports)
FASSPAR is an intuitive, web-based system developed with FAS Principal Investigators and Research Administrators in mind. It is a root-based system taking information from the Harvard Data Warehouse (HDW) and FAS web applications to provide up-to-date information on actual expenses, equipment and other encumbrances, and personnel appointments to manage your sponsored research.
Equipster is an intuitive web-based equipment database. Equipster use is mandatory for departments which have capital equipment costs and perform work on sponsored research projects.
