Introduction
The U.S. federal government has a number of controls in place that limit the export of technical data, goods, and commodities to other countries. Certain types of goods and technologies are especially sensitive, particularly those with potential military applications, and certain countries are under economic embargoes that influence both direct exportation and "transshipment" through another country.

Ask yourself the question: "Is the research material I plan to ship outside the United States or that I plan to bring with me when I leave the United States listed here?"
If the answer is "yes", call Griff.
U.S. Department of State (ITAR)
Does your research involve a direct military application or space technology?
If the answer is "yes", call Griff.
Fundamental Research/Exclusions
