What you will find among these web pages is a collaborative outreach effort designed to engage university researchers, students and educators in Antarctic science. Our approach has been to team up and use resources in both Antarctica and your own backyard! |

Members of the McMurdo Dry Valleys Long Term Ecological Research and Microbial Observatories including scientists at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts, and Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana have joined forces with educators at Black River and Okemo Mountain Schools in Ludlow Vermont and their students to learn about the local Vermont ecosystem and that of the McMurdo Dry Valleys in Antarctica. |
