Heathrow Airport, London.

Amazing how time passes, even in an airport. I'm part way through my journey to Uganda, enduring a 12 hour layover between flights.

I had planned to wander around London for the day, but it's cold and rainy, and I didn't sleep much on the flight from Boston. Now, after a nap, I feel like exploring, but it's too late.

Rain in London. Typical!

Only a couple more hours to kill, and I'll be back on my way. I'm actually enjoying this - I like time by myself to think about where I'm headed and what I've left behind.

It's really nice to know that I won't have to haggle for a taxi when I land in Entebbe. I remember being consumed by thoughts about logistics such as these when I was enroute to Tanzania. Much different this time.
