Ancient Philosophy Reading Group

Friends & Eminees Reading Group
Open to graduate students and faculty with interests in the area, mostly from Harvard and MIT, this group discusses work in metaphysics and epistemology presented by its members. For information, see the group web page.
Harvard-MIT Graduate Philosophy Conference
Each year, a coalition of graduate students at Harvard and MIT organize and present this graduate student conference, typically held in early spring.
Harvard Philosophical Psychology Lab
The Harvard Philosphical Psychology Laboratory is dedicated to examining philosophical problems concerning perception by conducting psychological experiments.

Workshops
Sponsored by members of the faculty, the Workshop in Moral and Political Philosophy (M&P) and the Workshop in Metaphysics and Epistemology (M&E) are otherwise open only to advanced graduate students working in the relevant areas.

They meet regularly (in most cases, once a week) to discuss the work of the student members, and each of them sponsors two public lectures by invited speakers from outside the Department each year. (See the colloquia schedule for information about these.)
