What is domestic violence?
While physical violence may be the first image that comes to mind when we think of abusive relationships, this "power and control wheel" provides a visual explanation of the role that sexual, economic, social, and emotional violence play as well.
Similar diagrams are also available that show how these aspects of power and control apply specifically in LGBT relationships and adolescent relationships.

Warning signs
A worksheet to help assess whether you could be in an abusive relationship and create a safety plan.

Developing relationship values
A worksheet to help you reflect on how the relationships you have witnessed shape the values you bring to your own relationships.

Healthy relationships
A starting place for thinking about what characterizes a healthy relationship.

Equality wheel
The opposite of the "power and control wheel" available above, this diagram shows how equality and mutual respect form the foundation of healty relationships.
