Violetta Walker joined the Office of International Programs as the first Department Administrator of this rapidly growing office in June 2008. She worked in similar capacities in academic administration for over five years at Teachers College at Columbia University in the city of New York. At Harvard, she has worked most recently at the Graduate School of Education.

Violetta has traveled extensively throughout Europe and North Africa and lived and studied in London, Barcelona, and in several cities in Sweden. She is a native of Budapest, Hungary, and speaks Hungarian as well as Swedish and Spanish.

Violetta holds B.A. and B.S. degrees from Andrews University, Michigan and M.A. and Ed.M. degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University.
