Jaromir Ledecky International Fellowship Program in Journalism

Application deadline extended to Friday, March 20th

The Jaromir Ledecky International Fellowships will provide full funding to Harvard undergraduates for an international internship in journalism. Students can submit an internship possibility that they have organized independently, or the Office of International Programs can put interested students in touch with Harvard regional studies centers that can help with placement.

Application instructions
Step 1. Fill out CARAT, print out one copy
Fill out the OIP Summer Funding Application, print it out and sign it.

Step 2. Submit the applications above along with following additional documentation to the OIP:
- A proposal that describes the program or project (approx. 500 words)

- A resume

- A non-academic writing sample

- An unofficial transcript

- A letter of recommendation from a Harvard faculty member, TF, or advisor. If you provided a letter of recommendation to apply for your program/project, you may use this same letter.

- A letter of acceptance from the program/site or program sponsor (if not available at time of application, evidence of the student’s application to the program must be submitted). If you have designed your own internship or service project, you are required to have an advising session at the Office of Career Services about your plans. If you are applying to a Harvard-run program, or if you are doing independent research with a Harvard faculty member or conducting thesis research, please provide the name of the contact for the program/project at Harvard.
