African Summer Workcamps 2006
The African Great Lakes Initiative (AGLI) of Friends Peace Teams is sponsoring international workcamps in Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. The two-day pre-service training begins June 23 near Washington DC. Workcampers depart for Africa on June 24 and return on July 29. All expenses are paid and a traveling stipend is provided. The Program is open to all Harvard and MIT undergraduate and graduate students, and candidates from all academic specialties will be considered. Proficiency in Japanese is NOT required.
