-Your program must be 4+ weeks long

-Program types include: field-based, intensive language and general courses/university summer terms.

You can earn up to 2 half courses of Harvard credit, concentration and/or pure elective credit, for successful completion of a summer study abroad program!

You can use courses taken abroad towards a language citation. If you are considering a citation, you should contact the appropriate person in the department to learn more. Click here for the list of contacts.

Once you have earned a citation, you may apply to the Core Office to request that your citation satisfy the Foreign Cultures core requirement; the Core Office will review your courses for consideration.
