Carl Sharif El-Tobgui comes to Harvard from McGill University where he served as Lecturer in Arabic Language and is currently pursuing a PhD in Islamic Studies. He received his AM from McGill and his BS from Georgetown. Mr. El-Tobgui's recent study abroad includes a summer at Qarawiyyin University in Morocco, and a year at the Center for Arabic Study Abroad at the American University in Cairo, Egypt.
