Japan Foundation Library Support Program Advisory Committee (JFLS)

The Japan Foundation Library Support Program Advisory Committee reviews and ranks library support applications as a service to the Institutional Support Subcommittee of the Japan Foundationıs American Advisory Committee which makes recommendations on library grants to the Foundation in Tokyo. Committee members are chosen both from librarian members currently serving on the NCC, augmented by additional non-member librarians as needed, plus the CEAL representative, and the JF-AACıs designated representative who chairs this committee.

The Japan Foundation Library Support Program Advisory Committee as a whole meets each January in conjunction with the NCCıs Council meeting to rank applications and to make recommendations to the Japan Foundation American Advisory Committee which will make the final recommendations to the Japan Foundation in Tokyo.
