NCC plans to have its Annual Open Meeting held in conjunction with the meetings of the Association for Asian Studies and the Council on East Asian Libraries on Friday, April 5th, 2002 from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm. The Open Meeting is hosted by the University of Maryland and will take place in the Special Events Room, McKeldin Library.

THE GORDON W. PRANGE COLLECTION TOUR and LECTURES

After the NCC Open Meeting, there also will be a program to introduce participants to the Gordon W. Prange Collection, including a tour of the collection itself, as well as a tour of an exhibition of Prange materials currently on display at the University of Maryland. In addition, invited speakers, Dr. Marlene Mayo and Mr. Albert L. Seligmann, will give talks on the Prange Collection and the Occupation Period.

Transportation between the University of Maryland and the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel and also from the Library of Congress (where RLIN's meetings will take place) will be provided for registered participants. A light lunch will also be served for registered participants.
