Four titles of Nara Ehon (Hōmyō Dōji, ほうみょう童子; Shigure, しぐれ; Shizuka, 静; and Soga Monogatari, そが物がたり), or classic picture books are being digitized for Nichibunken. 3.    Microfilming Projects

The project to microfilming Nan’yōchō, 南洋庁 a collection of Japanese pre-war official documents from the South Sea Islands (Mandated Territory of Japan), was resumed. The filming project was started several years ago but was halted due to lack of funds. Microfilming job is done in-house because of the uniqueness of the collection.
