Presented by Satoka Ijima. This session centered on the
Genji monogatari. We were shown original manuscript versions of the Ukifune chapter dating from the 12th to the 17th century. Ijima noted that there fewer details in the illustrations as the manuscripts become more recent. In addition to the print holdings, we also saw some digital images from the
Kishocho Gazo Detabesu. See also
