Mission 1: Growing distributed national collections
Multi-Volume sets (MVS) Project
1992-Grants for the purchase of expensive multi-volume sets of Japanese language materials that are in demand by users and are not held elsewhere in North America
Japan Art Catalog (JAC) Project
Project 1995-Facilitates access to Japanese art catalogs for art historians and the general public on site & via ILL
