Talking with the Parker Quartet​ about their teaching and performance at Harvard.

“The first year has flown by,” says Daniel Chong, violinist of the Parker Quartet.“Before, we could only envision an institution as our home. Now, we can’t imagine a better fit. We think of [our studio in the basement of the music building] as our laboratory. It’s our private space to hone, experiment, and explore as performers.


The Harvard University Department of Music is devoted to the study and practice of music, and exists to provide a first-rate musical education that gives students advanced skills in music as well as knowledge of music history and repertory. Monday - Friday: 8:30 am to 11:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm

Practice rooms are closed during all legal holidays, and over the December holiday break (normally December 23-January 2). Hours are curtailed during reading period, January break, and summer MORE INFO
