Transport By air Boston is served by Logan International airport. A taxi from the airport to Cambridge costs around $32-40 (plus 15-20% tip). There is also a good public transport service, the ‘Silver Line', which consists of a combination of bus and subway. At Logan, look for the Silver Line bus service; take this to South Station. Boston's full subway network (the ‘T') is available from South Station; Cambridge can be reached from there by taking the Red Line. The Harvard Square stop on the Red Line is 5 minutes walk from the workshop venue, and is also convenient for accommodation, shops and restaurants close to Harvard. By train Amtrak services run to South Station in Boston. From there, Harvard can be reached by subway; follow the directions from South Station under ‘by air'.
