Select your group's first, second and third choice dates:

Student groups may apply to present one event in Lowell Hall each semester. In times of heavy demand, groups may be limited to one event per academic year.

Lowell Hall dates granted to student groups are for one performance only. Proposals for additional performances on single day will be reviewed by the Memorial Hall Production Office on a case by case basis (prior history does not guarantee future approval). If access time is limited, multiple performances may not be approved.

Use the scroll arrows to view all available dates. Please be sure the entire group is available for all three choices. In times of heavy demand, your group may be asked to consider dates not selected.

Hold the control key to make multiple selections. (for example, to choose both a Friday and Saturday as one choice.)

If you request a Friday and Saturday, would you consider a one night event if only one date is available?

YES, though two nights are preferred, one night will work for this event.

NO, this event will only work for a two night engagement. (Check with other venues. Two night events are considered, but are less likely scheduled in Lowell Hall.)

We occasionally receive numerous applications for specific dates. Please let us know if your group is restricted to the dates requested above, if there are any dates your group absolutely cannot perform, or if there is any flexibility.

If you are applying to other venues, please list them below.

Please answer questions as best you can. We do not expect all details to be final for the application.

REHEARSAL REMINDER: For most events we can only schedule two hours in addition to the time reserved on the day of the event. If your event requires more rehearsal time, you may need to consider other venues. If additional time becomes available, we will set it aside for rehearsal. Often, we will not know if additional time opens up until several weeks into the semester.

Note any rehearsal comments/concerns here (if any):

Lowell Hall capacity is 352 fixed seats. There is no standing or sitting in aisles or stairs.

All events at Lowell Hall, including free events, must be ticketed by the Harvard Box Office. Contact the Manager of Student Ticketing Services (Jason Govostes, govostes@fas) for more information.

All events at Lowell Hall, including free events, must have a Harvard University Police Department detail officer present. Memorial Hall/Lowell Hall staff will arrange for this detail and expect reimbursement from the student group, payable by check, at the initial meeting with production staff. The HUPD detail must be reimbursed before sound/light training is scheduled, and before keys are distributed to access these systems.
