Airborne Media Regulations for HRDC Loeb Productions:


Theatrical Fog:

Definition: Fog or smoke generated by high temperature theatrical fog machines such as the Rosco 1000/1600.

Allowed Usage: Five (5) seconds of usage for each sixty (60) minutes of the production. Maximum of five (5) seconds of constant output at any one time. Minimum of fifteen (15) minutes between uses.

 

Dry-ice Fog:

Definition: Fog generated by the combination of dry ice and hot water.

Allowed Usage: Unlimited usage.

 

Theatrical Haze:

Definition: Thin fog or haze generated by the atomization of mineral oil or water-based fluids.

Allowed Usage: Mainstage Only, no Ex use allowed.
Water-based: Five (5) minutes of usage for each sixty (60) minutes of the production. Maximum of ten (10) minutes of constant output at any one time. Minimum of thirty (30) minutes between uses.

Oil-based: No usage allowed.

 

Other Media:

Definition: Any airborne media not described above.

Allowed Usage: Absolutely no usage allowed unless specifically discussed and approved by the Loeb Technical Director and General Manager.

 

Combinations of Media:

Definition: Any two (2) or more of the above media used in the same production.

Allowed Usage: Must be specifically discussed and approved by the Technical Director and General Manager.
