PRACTICE FINAL EXAM: There is a practice final exam in the
CoursePack. The section
video this week covers the practice final exam - the answer
key will be posted later in the week.
PROJECT WRITE-UPS: Some sample project writeups are available to look at if you
are unsure how to do the write-up.
FINAL PROJECTS: Final projects are due on Friday, January 9th by
6:00 PM. They should be submitted using the usual homework procedure, with the
submit number
5. Please be sure to include your write-up with your code.
HOMEWORK: The last day to submit homework without an Extension of Time
or written approval from Dr. Leitner or Jan is Friday, January 9th.

VIDEOS: The videos of Monday night's lecture and section are now
available. Please print the new slides and programs before
viewing the videos.
HOMEWORK 4: The new homework (and final homework!) was handed out in lecture
Monday and is available in the CoursPack. It will be due on January 5th, and
should be submitted using the number 41.

VIDEOS: The videos of last night's lecture and section are now available
at right. Please print the programs and slides before
viewing the videos. The programs have been modified from
the earlier versions.
TERM PROJECTS: There is a handout in the CoursePack describing the term
project requirements, which also contains suggestions for possible projects.
The project is required for grad students; optional for undergrads for extra
credit. If you want to do a different project than those suggested, you MUST
have your TA approve it before we leave for winter break! If you need help deciding
on a project, talk to your TA.
FINAL EXAM: The final exam will be held on January 12th at 5:30 PM in Science
Center Lecture Hall A. We will return from the winter break on January 5th.
If you are a distance student and need a proctored exam, you may want to make
your arrangements BEFORE the winter break! The Extension School will be closed
from December 24th until January 5th.

HOMEWORK 3, PART 2: The new homework was handed out Monday in class and will
be due on December 15. It should be submitted using the number 32.

PDF format. If you do not have Acrobat Reader to view these files, you may obtain it free at
ADOBE's web site. If you want to download a copy of the handout to print,
RIGHT-click it (PC) or CTRL-click it (Mac) and save the file.
All remaining handouts after the second week of class will be
located in the CoursePack directory listed below. Login and password
will be posted in the course message you will see after you have
signed up for a section.
