The final exam will be given Monday May 19 at 7:35 in Science Center Hall A.

Sample final exams are in the ~lib215/info directory; login to ice and look there.

The final exam is open notes and open book. No electronic devices are permitted during the exam.

Bruce will have office hours March 27 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.

Office hours will not be held March 20. Bruce will be available by email during that evening if you would like to discuss the pong assignment or other topics.
17 Mar    Distance Students: Final Exam Planning

Distance students who live in the six-state New England area are required to attend the final exam (May 19, 2008) in person at the Harvard Science Center.

Students who live outside that area should make arrangements for a local proctor. Please read the details in the Extension school catalog/website or on the Distance link for this course site.

29 Feb    Test Script for tarc Project Posted

We have just posted a test script for the tarc project. No one has submitted their homework, yet, so all submissions should include a run of the test script in the typescript (among other things). We apologize for the delay.
28 Feb    Interested in Electronic Office Hours/Sections?

Distance students and hybrid distance students: are you interested in web-based real-time chat office hours and/or discussion sections? A software system called Elluminate is available to Extension School courses.

If you would like to try it, please write to lib215 at fas.harvard.edu and we'll schedule a time.

24 Feb    Questions about versions of ustar format

There are some slight variations in how different groups have implemented the ustar 'standard'. Please see the tarc pagefor some reference links.
21 Feb    Office Hours and Sections

Now that enrollment has stabilized, the following weekly office hours and review classes have been scheduled:
  • Brandon will hold a review session in SciCenter room 113 from 6PM - 7PM.
  • Brandon will be in the computer lab Monday evenings 5:30-6PM and 7-7:30PM
    (before and after section).
  • Bruce will be in the computer lab Thursday evenings 6PM - 8PM
