Korean Rare Books Specialist Arrives at the Harvard-Yenching Library

Dr. Soon-Gu Lee, a senior researcher at the National History Compilation Committee of Korea has been invited to the Harvard-Yenching Library as a Korean rare book specialist. She will work with Mr. Choong Nam Yoon, Librarian for the Korean Collection, to critically review and publish the annotated bibliography of Korean rare books by the end of this year as part of the Harvard-Yenching Library Bibliography Series. Her appointment is sponsored by the Harvard-Yenching Institute as a Visiting Scholar.

Dr. Lee brings great expertise in the field of Choson Dynasty rare books, and the library will benefit greatly from her efforts.
