It seems that the old EndNote 2.2 Demo version on the Bibliography CD is still compatible with Windows XP and Vista.

You can download the latest available version of EndNote as a 30-day fully functional trial version - click here ("ENX....exe" files) or here. Presently, as of August 2009, the latest version is "EndNote X3."After the 30-day trial period has expired you will still be able to use EndNote as a reader (same as with the old 2.2 version on the HKSB CD). However, EndNote X2 and X3 (and possible later versions) do require that you convert our four Harvard Korean Studies Bibliography "libraries" (data bases) to the new X2 resp. X3 format. This is done quickly: just copy the four libraries from the CD to your PC's hard drive, then open the downloaded and installed EndNote X3 trial program, and now open the HKSB libraries from within the EndNote program (File / Open Library). You will be asked to agree to convert them. EndNote X3 also allows you to merge all four libraries into a single one (Import function). Make sure to do all this within the first 30 days after you downloaded the EndNote trial version - before it expires to become a reader version.
