FAS Video-Conferencing Locations
Please note: video-conferences require BOTH a room reservation and a media technician's assistance reservation. Some buildings also require that a video-conference reservation form be submitted. Multipoint video-conferences require a reservation with a third-party bridging agent in addition the room and technician's assistance reservations.

MPC supports ISDN and IP video-conferences. For ISDN conferences, as with telephone calls, transmission charges are billed to the location placing the call, so transmission charges may apply. ISDN video-conferencing rates will depend on the number of lines used and the duration of the call. There are no line charges for IP videoconferencing using the MPC facilities. However, videoconferencing using the Internet is not as reliable as ISDN. MPC does not support multipoint video-conferences. To connect several sites, you must use a third-party bridging agent and there will be additional connectivity fees for the bridging services.
The MPC videoconference facilities are available for use Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-7 p.m. and require two weeks' advance notice to reserve to allow for coordination and testing. All video-conferences require at least one test before each conference. Tests will be charged at the appropriate rate, per location and bandwidth.
