We are pleased to announce that the 18th Annual Meeting of the International Association of Chinese Linguistics (IACL-18) will be held at Harvard University, in conjunction with the 22nd North American Conference on Chinese Linguistics (NACCL-22), on May 20-22, 2010.  The conference is being hosted under the joint auspices of the Department of Linguistics and the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations.


IACL-18 and NACCL-22 cordially invite  abstracts, in all areas of Chinese linguistics and from any theoretical perspective, for presentation during the conference.  In addition, to promote, recognize and encourage young scholars, IACL is inviting original papers from young scholars in competition for one of three awards.  All abstracts are due at the deadline of December 31, 2009.  For the young scholar awards, full papers (and abstracts) are due December 15, 2009.  Specific requirements of format, eligibility, online submission, etc. are set forth at the various links to your left.  Please also check back periodically for updates, registration, program, travel and other practical information as these become available in the following months.
