Welcome to the Holden Choral Ensembles at Harvard!

Recognized together as the Holden Choirs, the Harvard Glee Club, Radcliffe Choral Society, Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum, and the Harvard Radcliffe Chorus attain the highest national acclaim year after year and draw singers from a variety of academic disciplines and musical backgrounds.

Rehearsals, concerts, tours, retreats, and social occasions form the enriching composite mosaic in our choral lives at Harvard. Each year the ensembles undertake exciting concert projects singing the remarkable panoply of six centuries of choral styles. The choral ensembles combine for performances of major symphonic-choral works every spring, and every four years each ensemble embarks on an international summer tour. Together we create a community of kindred spirits enriched by the love we have for singing, by the music we sing, and by the joy and pride we share for our choral ensembles.

Students who are interested in singing at Harvard are encouraged to visit each group's website for more information. If you are a high school student who is in the process of looking at different colleges and universities, I hope you will visit the Harvard campus. If you do please feel free to attend a rehearsal for one of our choral groups or arrange a time to come and sing for me.

Sincerely,

Andrew Clark
Director of Choral Activities
Senior Lecturer on Music
