A.M. Degree

Students in the Department of History are encouraged to apply for the A.M. degree after completing one year of course requirements, typically at the beginning of the fall term of their second year of graduate study. Students may collect the Application for Degree from the Coordinator of Graduate Studies.

The department does not admit candidates for a terminal AM degree. The degree may also be offered to students unable to complete the PhD.
