Julia Stephens
J ulia Stephens is a graduate student in the
History
Department working on the intellectual and cultural history of India. She
completed her AB at Harvard College in 2005 and her MPhil at Cambridge
University in 2006. She has worked on intellectual exchanges between South
Asia, Europe, and the United States. Her current research focuses on the
relationship between legal change and religious life. She is also
interested
in the development of North Indian literary traditions, especially Urdu and Persian.
