The Environmental History Project at the Center for History and Economics seeks to encourage conversations between scholars from different disciplines who are interested in studying the history of interactions between humans and their environments, especially in relation to long-distance or transnational exchanges.
The project has developed out of the “Environmental Security" and the “Ecology, Economy and Society 1500-2000” programmes at the Centre for History and Economics at King's College, University of Cambridge.
