Ian Kumekawa

Ian KumekawaIan Kumekawa is a research associate at the Institute for New Economic Thinking. He obtained his MPhil at Cambridge in 2013 and his AB in 2012 at Harvard College, where he studied history and economics and was an undergraduate research associate at the Joint Center for History and Economics.

His work at both Harvard and Cambridge examined the intellectual origins of welfare economics, focusing specifically on its founder, Cambridge economist A.C. Pigou (1877-1959).
