lexa Rahman is currently pursuing an MPhil in Economic and Social History at Cambridge University. She earned her AB from Harvard College in 2012, concentrating in history with a secondary in economics and a language citation in Arabic. She also completed a senior thesis entitled "Plantation University: Harvard Scientists at Soledad Plantation and Cuba's Transition from Slavery to Free Labor, 1880-1920." She is interested in studying historical connections between economic development, culture, and labor relations.
