Partners in China

The Harvard Shanghai Center represents an important next stage of Harvard's engagement in Asia. Both Harvard and Harvard Business School have a long history of engagement in China. Our work there today and in the future is intended to ensure the continued flow of ideas and scholarship by building upon the fruitful relationships we have formed with Chinese universities and researchers, the Chinese government and a range of private and public organizations. Harvard will provide programming in partnership with Chinese universities and organizations, conferences and workshops at a facility at Harvard Shanghai Center, which has a presentation space with built-in video conferencing capabilities and simultaneous translation. The venue also has a breakout lounge, conference rooms and small offices.
