Wilderness First Responder (WFR)

Each year, FOP offers a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course on campus during spring break. This 80-hour course is the recognized standard for outdoor leaders and guides; it offers a solid foundation of medical skills for anyone who spends a considerable amount if time in the backcountry. The course is open anyone; FOP leaders and members of the Harvard community are especially encouraged to take this valuable course. Usually spaces fill up quickly, so be sure to register early if you are interested.
