So far, this winter, we have raised over $32,000 in fundraising with over 200 donations. As the donations keep rolling in, we wanted to take a moment to give you a heart-felt THANK YOU for all of your support and belief in our program. We have achieved our original fundraising goal which means that we will have enough money to support the same level of FOP Financial Aid that we offered last year and more. If we can raise up to $45,000 this year, we will be able to purchase all of our rental gear on our wish list in addition to supplying our 2011 first-years with $30,000 of Financial Aid. Thanks for helping us share the outdoors and the magic of FOP with the 2011 first-year class!

Whether or not you have given to FOP, you may be interested to learn more about how FOP donations are allocated or to read some of the wonderful memories that came out of FOP trips this past fall. This year's edition of FOP's Annual Report "The Fuzzy Cheesecake" contains contributions from first-years, leaders, leader alums, parents, and staff members from Harvard, past and present, and gives more insight into these topics and our hopes and dreams for the years to come.

Although we have achieved our initial goal, we are still accepting donations! We plan to put these donations towards expanding our gear collection, with the hope of being able to loan gear to every FOPper who requests it. We are excited to announce that FOP will be holding a 30th Anniversary Celebration Weekend this spring, and that you are invited! For more information or to register, please visit the 30th page! Become a Certified Wilderness First Responder over Spring Break!

FOP and SOLO School will be teaming together again this spring break to offer our yearly WFR course at Harvard!

When: March 13-21, 2010
Where: Harvard College, Cambridge, MA
Cost: $640 ($540 for Harvard undergrads & $440 for FOP leaders)
How: Fill out and return the relevant sections of the WFR registration packet.
