Maurice Lee
Maurice Lee was trained in experimental and computational neurobiology at the California Institute of
Technology, and in systematic and historical theology at Fuller Theological Seminary and Yale University.
He received his Ph.D. in religious studies from Yale in May 2007. His dissertation draws on the
thought of Richard of St. Victor (d. 1173) and Robert Grosseteste (d. 1253) to develop theological aspects
of the relation of the Holy Spirit to human persons. He has research interests in medieval and contemporary
Trinitarian theology and the philosophical and theological dimensions of religion-and-science conversations. Maurice Lee is currently a Professor of Religious Studies at Westmont College. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Divinity School for 2 years (2006-2008).
